Gilbert Guerrero
(Gilbert)
A little bit about me: I’m an artist, designer, and teacher. My main contribution to the blog is that I built it! Well, actually, I built it on the backs of other developers by using WordPress, an Open Source blogging app. As an artist, I work with video, sound, computers, film, slide photography, paper, string, beer cans, and other things. As a designer, I mostly work on the Web, designing and building front ends.
Books I’m currently reading (selected list):
- Google and the Myth of Universal Knowledge by Jean-Noël Jeanneney
- Twinkie, Deconstructed by Steve Ettlinger
- Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein
- A Brief History of Neoliberalism by David Harvey
- 120 Rue de la Gare by Léo Malet
- Mental Models by Indi Young
(Yes, I am really reading all of these. Usually, they’re not all open at the same time.)
