Privett also stated at Jan. 19th meeting that the station was not on the market. Interestinly enough, that same day I believe, Branda Barnes (CPRN) on NPR’s Forum stated that they only went after stations that were on the market. thought it quite telling that when asked why he did not allow staffers/community/students to buy KUSF, he retorted, “Why didn’t you make me an offer…. take the initiative?” Bit of a Freudian slip I think…
