Here are links to the two articles I wrote in 2005 that appeared in the Spokesman Review.
Read more about Zittel’s “mobile units” in the RV lifestyle column -- “Good things come in small spaces” (http://www.spokesmanreview.com/tools/story_pf.asp?ID=126222) and the visual arts article -- “Made to order: Ultra-organized installation artist Andrea Zittel (http://www.spokesmanreview.com/tools/story_pf.asp?ID=126959).

A couple of years back I interviewed Andrea Zittel for two articles for The Spokesman-Review in Spokane, Wash.--one for a visual arts article and the other for RV lifestyle column. In addition to being extremely articulate, she was a hoot to interview.

FWIW, check out http://www.artsjournal.com/man/2006/09/sun_tunnels_part_one.html and http://www.artsjournal.com/man/2006/09/sun_tunnels_part_two.html. (Due to a software platform conversion there are some commas missing, but it's not too bad.)

Yes, my obsession includes CLUI in Wendover, I will certainly stop there! I'm not so sure about your assessment of the Sun Tunnels, however, I've heard they are very impressive.

Sun Tunnels is nowhere near as impressive as some of the others, but it's worth a peek. It's much harder to find, so arm yourself with multiple sets of directions, technology and one heckuva lot of water.

(And check out CLUI Wendover while you're there!)
